COVID Corruption and God’s Call

As the US opens up and the urgency of pandemic ebbs away here, more and more evidence is surfacing that the virus was created in the Wuhan Lab. Even left leaning media is reporting that yes, it is plausible and likely. Geri Ungurean’s blog, ‘Absolute Truth From the Word of God’ embeds a brief but succinct podcast by Dinesh D’Souza and a significant exposé by left leaning Vanity Fair, ‘The Lab Leak Theory: Inside the Fight to Uncover COVID-19’s Origins’. You can see the post here

Is this a gargantuan crime scene? The epicenter of global calamity?

The great phenonemon here, aside from the virus itself, is the global capacity to coordinate media conglomerates and mass communication networks to censor research, evidence, and even input from involved scientists and researchers. As a result of F.O.I.L., evidence now implicates high ranking authorities to major search engines such as Google, effectively converting them into “spin engines”, giving falsehood a firm foundation and widespread credibility. Newscasters and government leaders promoted testimony and commentary from scientists who reinforced scenarios. Conveniently, dissenters were bullied, threatened, and ostracized.

After more than a year of COVID preoccupation, does anyone care about this surfacing truth? Many conservatives and believers challenged the strategic deception and now, as truth begins to surface, Christians are wise step back and contemplate our times.

If worldly corrupt, professional, powerful and wealthy men and women can fabricate an entirely false narrative to globally manipulate and deceive, imagine what supernatural powers can accomplish through such vessels. This ‘cover-up’ was the best of human effort. That fact alone should jump start believers, not toward the Republican party, or to rally around charismatic whistleblowers or gather in protests. The powerful, collaborative abuse of authority and position should compel us, as the Apostle Peter urges, to “prepare our minds for action”.

In previous verses, Peter pointed to the prophets who sought with great intent the “times and circumstances” of Christ’s arrival. “Therefore”, Peter exhorts, “prepare your minds for action”, calling us to holiness, self-control, and a lifestyle detached from this world, “…live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear…”

The COVID virus, scandal, widespread betrayal of authorities and media control presents a most formidable temptation for Christians to seek justice and some kind of political empowerment. But ultimately it is a temptation that would derail us from God’s high call. For the believer, all this should propel us further from worldly dynamics and deeper into God’s word. Above all, we need spiritual discernment. As the prophets before us, we must “search intently and with greatest care” to be the lamposts and beacons for Christ in our generation.

The great deception and calamity which took root and spread will be laughable compared to the rise of supernatural deception. It will not be Republican/Democrat, Conservative/Liberal. All are worldly alliances will prove to be a fatal choice for believers to trust.

We might not be here when the antichrist arises but we might. In any case, we want our hearts aligned with God’s. Now is the time to gird up our loins, “prepare our minds for action”, and grow in intimacy with our Lord. The “road is narrow” and the “gate is small” -it is single file. We won’t make it unless our eyes fixed upon Jesus alone – He’s finished His journey but still goes before us.

May we all prepare our minds to discern the times, to know the call of our Father in heaven and fulfill those works “prepared for us in advance” by Him. Only through Him can we bear fruit with eternal value.

  1. “Conveniently, dissenters were bullied, threatened, and ostracized.”

I’m always amazed at how easy people sort of nod and obey whatever social media tells them. “Don’t talk about this, or you’re a conspiracy theorist!” And everybody gasps and shuts their mouths obediently. And they try to shut other people’s mouths, too.

It’s surprising to me, having grown up in a very defiant, independent thinking generation (or so I thought).

But it’s always refreshing to find a blog post like this one. Yeah, it might not have been a wet market that started this one, and is that such a naughty thing to say? 🤔 Is that such a shocking thing to consider?

    • True, Jarillisima, we do cower too much to others’ opinions. Heaven forbid we should be called conspiracy theorists.
(Recently I saw a post on social media that said, “I need new conspiracy theories. All my old ones turned out to be true ” 😏)

      • Hahaha That’s a good one 😊

I think people don’t realize that, until quite recently, conspiracy theories were talked about in the mainstream, and it was no big deal. For instance, the bestselling series Matched by Allie Condie is sci-fi, and it touches upon vaccines used to control the population. Sci-fi is full of “what ifs” that are spooky to think about/discuss, and that’s it.

I’m aware that some conspiracies are very ugly and harmful, but those few have been used to muzzle us from asking even the simplest of questions.

If someone sees a Christian going too far into conspiracies, it’s better to help them, but in order to do so, we have to listen to them first. There’s no way around it.

        Anyway, thanks for understanding!

  2. Tremendous post, Lisa Beth. Unfortunately, too many believers are tying themselves up in the complexities of human conspiracy. As you said, we need to be fully tied up in the Lord Jesus and being about His work.

There are masses of people who have not heard the Gospel, and we need to be sharing it before it’s too late. Excellent wake-up call to believers!

  3. Thank you, Lisa Beth. Very well articulated and a clear biblical call to keep our eyes on the Lord, stay in the word, and stay out of worldly affairs! Amen.

John 18:36  Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”

2 Timothy 2:4 “No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.”

  5. This is a fantastic post! You are so right about spiritual deception and taking steps back. We need to step forward toward Christ and prepare our minds, hearts and hands to love, obey and serve Him while there is still time. More and more we are seeing how friendship with the world is enmity with God. So thankful for you! Love, hugs and blessings!!!

  6. Well said, Lisa Beth. And the comments from all are so appropriate and encouraging.

One thought. You wrote, “We might not be here when the antichrist arises but we might.” I’ve not heard or read this thinking often in many years. Once upon a time, we’d say “Pray for Pre, Prepare for Post.” I think there’s merit in being “prayed up and fasted up,” as we indeed don’t really know if we’ll be spared all or some of the Tribulation. Yet, we do have assurance that we will be spared G-D’s Wrath.

Additionally, we do well to, as Apostle Paul wrote the Ephesians, “. . . be strong in the L-RD and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of G-D, that [we] may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” Eph 6:10,11.

L-RD Bless, Keep, Shine. . . May His Shalom Peace rest upon you and flow through you.

  8. Hardly anything shocks me anymore since 2016, when I learned of so many mass scandals and cover-ups of the 20th and 21st Century. There are so many global economic interests in China 🇨🇳 , so many people including in the United States always want to stay on the good side of the Chinese Communist Party. It is important that you pointed out, there is no political solution to this, and as Christians that is not where we should be putting our expectations. It is another reminder how sinful humanity is, and that without Jesus we cannot be rescued from it. Sadly some family members of mine who call themselves Christians are obsessed with seeing some political fix to this, and they live angry frustrated lives and ignore my reminders to focus on Christ and eternal things.

    • Thank you Joseph for adding your views on this post. It’s true, many “Christians” are so rooted in this world – I don’t think they anticipate our Lord’s Kingdom at all!
Thanks again brother, its good to hear from you.

  9. Hey, not a Christian, but adhere to earth based spirituality. I just want to say how refreshing it is to see someone who’s eyes are open to what’s going on, and while we may define things rather differently, I am in full agreement that we need to be guided by our spiritual awareness. Whatever one’s beliefs, time spent in Nature will most certainly clear our heads of all that societal noise, and help to settle our souls in the midst of all this manufactured fear.

    • Thank you Jessica, for sharing your views here. I agree, “Time spent in nature” does clear our heads and, if I may say, brings us nearer to our Creator.
May the Truth guide our steps as we walk thru this dark world. ⚘

  10. I am so glad Jehovah directed me to Dr.mercola.com and has guided me in the truth all along.
It is interesting what I was saying all along is now coming to light that most of this covid is utter lies.
My brother, his wife, his daughter and her husband, his two adult grandchildren all got both shots. They all got covid ( even though they do not all live in the same residence ). My brother ended up in the hospital. He told the doctors not to put him on the ventilator but they did anyways. It took him two weeks of utter hell in suffering to die.

I say herbal medicine is from Jehovah for our own good, pharmacies is man made for profit of the shareholders. Who would you trust? I have been a natural path for over forty years and never been sick. I have seen those who trust in pharmaceuticals take hand full of pills and die a slow painful death.

    • Thank you brother for sharing your views and experiences. I use several natural things for health like turmeric. There are so many remedies in God’s creation. Sadly, people are so conditioned by pharmaceuticals.
      Thsnk you again brother.
